They operate a large network of facilities nationwide and support customers across manufacturing, industrial, utilities, energy, and other highly regulated sectors. The company is privately held, financially stable, and investing significantly in modernizing business systems and digital capabilities across the enterprise.

    The Salesforce Business Analyst will play a key role in a major multi-cloud Salesforce modernization program. This person will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that Salesforce capabilities, future-state processes, and requirements are clearly understood, documented, validated, and successfully implemented. The role offers meaningful visibility across commercial operations, systems modernization, and customer-facing processes. This is a 12-month+ contract engagement based hybrid on-site in King of Prussia, PA.

     

    The Role You’ll Play

    In this role, you will be the primary owner of requirements across Sales Cloud and related Salesforce functions. You’ll work closely with business users, architects, and developers to map processes, document requirements, validate solutions, and support UAT and deployment. Your work directly influences the success of the Salesforce roadmap and ensures alignment between business needs and technical delivery.

    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, gaps, and operational pain points.

    • Document functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and end-to-end requirements ownership.

    • Conduct FIT/GAP and business gap analysis to support process optimization and future-state alignment.

    • Collaborate with architects and developers to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with best practices.

    • Validate Salesforce solutions, conduct demos, and support smoke testing of delivered functionality.

    • Run Salesforce reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis as needed.

    • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization within Salesforce.

    • Support UAT activities, triage defects, validate fixes, and assist in release readiness.

    • Create user guides and deliver end-user training and documentation.

    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring strong communication and alignment.

       

    Background Profile:

    The ideal candidate is a deeply experienced Salesforce Business Analyst who can “speak Salesforce” fluently, understands Sales Cloud at an advanced level, and has a track record of supporting multi-cloud Salesforce programs. This person must be strong in documentation, process mapping, requirements ownership, and cross-functional communication.

    • 12+ years overall IT experience with at least 8 years as a Salesforce Business Analyst.

    • Proven experience supporting multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.

    • At least 2 Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Administrator + Sales Cloud Consultant (mandatory) and one of the following: CPQ or Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud.

    • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, automation tools (Flows, Process Builder), and reporting.

    • Ability to create reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis across Salesforce.

    • Experience with integration concepts and data migration strategies.

    • Ability to download Salesforce data using Data Loader.

    • Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

    • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    • Exposure to Data Governance and MDM practices.

    • Salesforce knowledge across Sales Cloud and Administration beyond core requirements.

    • Bachelor’s degree (four-year) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
