Sr. Server Operating System Engineer (Windows / UNIX / Linux)

Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Clearance: Top Secret / Eligible for SCI

Qualifications:

· Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE). In lieu of SE experience, a Master’s degree in any engineering discipline or Computer Science may be substituted for three (3) years’ of SE experience. A Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or Computer Science may be substituted for one (1) year of SE experience.

· Minimum of one (1) year of documented training or experience relevant to designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities that comply with DoD cybersecurity policies and regulations.

· At least five (5) years' experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher (equivalent industry level executives is acceptable).

· Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience in creating, sustaining, modernizing, and integrating Enterprise-wide server architectures.

· Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later, Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later, and a small number of Linux-variant appliances.

· Experience with current automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment to achieve IaaS & PaaS capabilities that include metrics and monitoring.

· Experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), DNS integration, and MFA integration.

· Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) shall be required.

· Experience with Redhat Satellite Server, Redhat Ansible Automation Platform, and Redhat Identity Manager shall be required. An active intermediate or higher certification with Microsoft Server or Redhat Linux shall be required.
