About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the new Project Graph team at Adobe .
Project Graph is a new creative system that lets you combine first and third-party AI models, Adobe tools, and custom interactive components inside a visual, designer-friendly node graph editor. Connect a library of tactile, interactive components that bring creative control of AI back to your fingertips. Transform ideas into powerful workflows and modular tools that run anywhere, from the web to Adobe apps like Photoshop. And if you’d rather focus on creating than building, you can tap into a growing ecosystem of community-built tools without ever opening the editor.
In this backend- focused role, you will play a key role in developing the services infrastructure for this project .
What you'll do :
Build scalable, resilient APIs and compute s ervices that can cater to millions of Creative Cloud users and enterprise applications.
C ollaborating with other engineers, product managers, designers and user researchers to design and develop new features and tools.
Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well documented and maintainable code.
Work closely with internal and external customers to understand their workflows and needs, and adapt quickly based on their feedback.
What you need to succeed :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in C omputer S cience.
10+ years of backend software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience i n a server-side language, like Node.js/ Typescript , Java .
Expertise in at least one SQL database and one non-SQL database
Hands-on experience in building high-scale micro services , data lakes and event-driven architectures
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development .
Knowledge of security concepts and protocols for services on the cloud.
An interest in and ability to learn new technologies .
Ability to tackle problems in a sustainable way, always striving to improve our process es and learn.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.

Experience developing for multiple devices and platforms.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Experience with Agile development processes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $161,700 - $234,150
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
