    Job Description

    Role Overview

    We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable, secure, and user-centric applications that power Versant’s next-generation platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup-like environments, embraces SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms, and is passionate about delivering value quickly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from ideation to launch, delivering full-stack solutions that solve real business problems.
    • Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.
    • Leverage SaaS, low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.
    • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team quality.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Ensure security, performance, and maintainability are core to all solutions.
    • Work closely with product and architecture teams to align on the technical direction and business priorities.
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
    • Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
    • Experience with backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
    • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
    • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.
    • Exposure to serverless technologies and event-driven architecture.
    • Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating with enterprise platforms.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
    • Background in media, entertainment, or digital platforms is a plus.
