Protect AI is seeking software development engineer (SDE) to join our growing Engineering team. Our engineering team builds and operates ‘Protect AI Platform’ covering everything from AI supply chain security and ML Model Scanning to LLM Security. You will work closely with fellow Software Engineers who bring a variety of skillset to the table including Backend, Frontend, Infra, ML and Security Engineering. You will also get opportunity to work closely with Product Managers, Architects and our CTO.
This role is located at our Seattle office and in office 3 days a week. This is not a remote role.

Our team is at the forefront of AI security, building platforms that act as a secure gateway for machine learning pipelines. We specialize in developing advanced model scanners and policy enforcers that integrate seamlessly with modern ML workflows to identify and mitigate threats. Our work focuses on providing security AI ecosystems to protect against real-world threats like vulnerabilities embedded in ML models , model tampering, and data exfiltration. Through these efforts, our team secures the entire AI lifecycle from end to end. Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $147000 - $180,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
