Overview: In this senior position, the candidate must demonstrate technical ability, leadership and commitment to the program while establishing the building blocks for a structured organization to follow for the future.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for system-level software and hardware definitions
- Interfacing with the customer
- Perform system-level and component-level safety assessment
- Perform system-level reliability prediction in conjunction with other team members
- Define system-level requirements
- Define validation and verification processes
- Develop certification reports
- Support System Integration and troubleshooting activities
- Design and develop Test Environment for component-level and system-level Formal Testing Activities
- Create test procedures, execute tests and review test results.
- Document test results
- Define and capture requirements for EMI, EMC, DO-160, ARP7454, ARP4761, HALT, HASS and other applicable customer or Aerospace Industry specific standards
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Common Cause Analysis (CCA) and Common Mode Analysis (CMA).
What you need to qualify:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Aerospace Engineering; Master’s Degree a plus!
- 10 years of experience in Aerospace/Avionics
- Familiar with Airbus ABD
- System Verification and Validation and Verification per ARP4754 and ARP4761 Processes
- System and Software Design and Development per ARP4754, DO178, DO254
- Ability to prepare Plan and Process Documents per ARP4754 and DO178B/C
- System Integration and Troubleshooting
- EMI, EMC, D160, HALT, and HASS Testing
- Ability to perform FMEA, FTA, CCA, and CMA Analysis
