Cloud & AI Enablement Engineer (Senior Systems Engineer)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Cloud & AI Enablement Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment. The candidate will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of modern cloud and endpoint solutions across Microsoft ecosystems, while also helping clients adopt secure AI and automation capabilities. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership
- Architect and deliver Azure-based infrastructure solutions across multiple client environments
- Lead migrations, modernizations, and hybrid cloud deployments
- Design secure, scalable identity and access management solutions
Modern Workplace & Endpoint Management
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) and endpoint security strategies
- Deploy and optimize Autopilot and zero-touch provisioning
- Support cross-platform environments (Windows/macOS)
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices aligned to CIS/NIST frameworks
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, and identity protection
- Support governance initiatives across identity, devices, and data
Automation & AI Enablement
- Build automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and Power Automate
- Support integration of AI tools, agents, and workflows into client environments
- Help define secure and governed AI adoption strategies
Client Engagement & Escalation
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Work directly with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions
- Lead technical discussions, solution design sessions, and roadmap planning
Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation
- Drive standardization, efficiency, and best practices across environments
- Design, implement, and manage complex on-premises and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Lead architecture, deployment, and ongoing optimization of Microsoft Azure environments.
- Provide technical leadership on infrastructure standards, best practices, and solution design.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar role
- Strong experience in MSP, consulting, or multi-client environments
- Proven track record designing and supporting Azure-based solutions
Technical Expertise
- Cloud & Identity Platforms: Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SSO, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM
- Endpoint Management: Intune, Workspace ONE, JAMF, Autopilot, MDM (Windows/macOS)
- Automation: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate
- Security: Microsoft Defender, Purview, IAM governance, CIS/NIST frameworks
- Infrastructure: Azure IaaS/PaaS, VMware, Nutanix
- Collaboration: SharePoint Online
- IT Strategy: Cost optimization, budgeting, ROI forecasting
- AI: Secure AI adoption, governance, agent-based automation integration
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Microsoft Certified: Intune Administrator
