    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Technician to join our team full-time at our Bay Area facility. This is an on-site position offering hands-on experience with cutting-edge medical device technology.

    In this role, you will be a key contributor to the microelectronic assembly and verification processes for the implantable sensor, working closely with our multidisciplinary engineering and Quality teams. You will lead the hands-on microelectronic assembly of the implantable sensor, assist with process refinement and documentation, conduct electronic parts inspection, and execute electrical system and subsystem testing and inspection.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Execute microelectronic assembly of the implantable sensor in a cleanroom environment

    Assist with microelectronic assembly process development, refinement, and documentation

    Execute electrical system and subsystem testing and inspection using various electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM, signal generators)

    Work with engineers to manage electrical component supply and conduct parts inspections

    Provide key input to developing manufacturing procedures

    Work with external electronic assembly houses to complete key subsystem assemblies

    Closely collaborate with R&D, manufacturing and Quality teams

    Required Qualifications

    5+ years of professional experience working under some form of Quality Management System

    Mastery of handling and soldering of miniature electronic components, excellent hand control, and experience working under a microscope

    Demonstrated proficiency with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and multimeters

    Experience working in a cleanroom environment

    Basic understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting skills

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

    Good communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly including filling out lot history records

    Preferred Qualifications

    Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

    Basic PCB design experience and PCB CAD tool proficiency

    Experience with PC interface and control of electrical test equipment

    Familiarity with IC die-attach and wirebonding processes

    Understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, or design control requirements for medical devices

    Prior experience in a medical device startup or early-stage company environment
