    This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our client's team. As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering transportation projects that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on state, local government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation sector. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct traffic analysis and modeling
    • Lead traffic design efforts
    • Manage projects from inception to completion (if joining as Project Manager)
    • Foster communication and collaboration among stakeholders
    • Engage in public outreach initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards

    Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

    • Strong technical expertise, communication, and leadership abilities
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to collaborate in a team environment
    • Ambition to grow within the organization
    • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
    • Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
    • 4+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering
    • B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field, with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
    • Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
