About the Role
Lead Strategic Direction for Web & Digital Initiatives
Own the strategic approach for website and digital experience projects from discovery through delivery.
Translate research, stakeholder input, and client goals into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
Shape IA, UX direction, content priorities, and measurement plans that ladder up to business objectives.
Guide Clients as a Senior Digital Advisor
Lead strategy conversations with senior stakeholders and facilitate structured decision-making.
Present insights, recommendations, and frameworks with clarity and confidence.
Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving project needs with calm leadership.
Drive Discovery & Research
Conduct stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, audience research, and analytics reviews.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable strategic direction.
Identify opportunities for brand refinement, messaging alignment, and experience optimization.
Collaborate Across Disciplines
Partner closely with UX, design, content, development, and project management teams.
Ensure strategy is integrated into IA, design concepts, content strategy, and technical execution.
Provide ongoing guidance throughout the project lifecycle to maintain alignment.
Develop Messaging & Brand Foundations
Create or refine value propositions, messaging hierarchies, audience frameworks, and brand narratives.
Ensure brand expression carries consistently across digital channels and user flows.
Support Account Health & Growth
Participate in client presentations, pitch discussions, and long-term roadmap planning.
Build trusted relationships that strengthen retention and support future opportunities.
What You Bring
Core Experience
6–10+ years in digital, brand, UX, or content strategy.
Proven leadership on mid-to-large web projects.
Agency or consulting experience preferred.
Strategic Skills
Strong research, insight development, and synthesis capabilities.
Ability to connect strategy to business outcomes.
Understanding of IA, UX principles, content strategy, and analytics.
Client Leadership
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Experience guiding clients through complex decisions.
Comfortable running workshops and discovery sessions.
Collaboration & Adaptability
Works well with cross-functional teams.
Able to adjust approach as new insights emerge.
Technical & Analytical Fluency
Familiarity with analytics tools, CMS basics, SEO considerations, and digital measurement.
Curiosity about AI tools or new strategic methods is a plus.
