    Job Description

    The Field Training Manager plays a critical role in serving Sseko Design’s mission to use business to create educational and economic opportunities for women across the globe.  This role will serve as a subject matter expert, creating and executing best-in-class field training. With insight into strategy and collaborating across all departments from product to marketing, he or she will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and management of field training to support the success of our Sseko Design’s company growth. 

    This role requires an action-oriented, high spirited training professional who experiences joy from seeing others succeed, is ambitious and gains energy from a busy schedule, driven by our mission. The Field Training Manager will be field obsessed and work to increase the field’s engagement level, activity, productivity and retention. Reporting to our Director of Field Development, this Training role is at the heart of our business, supporting the sales and motivation of our Field.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Ability to conceptualize and develop new training tools as well as further develop and manage the online training library for Sseko Design’s independent business owner salesforce.

    • Develop a contemporary and innovative approach for program improvements that support the onboarding of our independent business owner salesforce.

    • Propose and implement new media and training tools that allow for a diversity in learning in a traditional face to face selling environment, virtual/remote selling environment, printed guides, emails, video scripts, digital notifications and more.

    • Collaborate with the Director of Field Development to help identify business needs and learning strategies that will be most effective for the Field. 

    • Identify metrics that can be used to evaluate effectiveness of the training delivered.

    • Content development and delivery for annual field learning events and sales execution projects. Work with the Director of Field Development and Project Manager on annual training content and the field events calendar.  

    • Operate in an “in the moment” environment while also keeping in mind the long term goals and objectives of the organization. 

    • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert in digital learning trends, training tools and platforms and provide thought leadership in continuously exploring new and innovative approaches.

    • Monitor and evaluate employee performance.

    • Minimal travel may eventually be required.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experienced in Adult learning and content and curriculum development. 

    • Experience in field development and direct selling is strongly preferred. 

    • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the following fields: retail, sales, training, leadership, management. 

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 

    • Excellent problem solving ability and high sense of urgency.

    • Excellent communication skills at all levels .

    • Knowledge of Google applications, Zoom, Canva, FB Live, FB Premier
