    St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Church is located in the Woodstock/Granite area. The location is seeking a qualified Parish Business Manager to oversee the management of their temporal goods and to provide support to the Parish Life Director and parish community in their efforts to evangelize. General Responsibilities The Business Manager reports to the Parish Life Director (PLD) and is responsible for the efficient and effective stewardship of the personnel, financial and physical resources of the parish. Specific Responsibilities In addition to the duties listed below, the Business Manager shall perform other duties as assigned. The duties listed below are the ultimate responsibility of the Business Manager; however, where appropriate, some of these duties may be delegated to and performed by employees under the supervision of the Business Manager. Financial Responsibilities - Perform / supervise the day-to-day accounting duties for Church. - Maintain parish financial records for weekly offerings, special collections, archdiocesan collections, restricted specific gifts and grants, etc. - Prepare annual individual contribution reports, periodic financial reports of condition for parishes and school, and long-term plans for maintenance and growth. - Develop, administer and review annual parish budget in compliance with Archdiocesan policy. Personnel Responsibilities - Participate in the development and implementation of parish personnel policies in collaboration with the PLD and consistent with relevant Archdiocesan policies. . - Develop guidelines for the approval of overtime and leave. General and Administrative Responsibilities - Direct the management of the parish office. - Assure routine maintenance of parish office equipment. - Supervise the management of parish records Information Technology/System Responsibilities - Oversee the updating and maintenance of the parish website. - Develop and/or enhance financial tracking data. - Keep accounting software and hardware systems up-to-date. - Train staff on the use of all software/systems.
