We have partnered with East Central College in Union, MO for our Certified Nursing Assistant classes. You must be in classes for your certification in order to qualify for this position.

St Andrew's At Francis Place is looking for a patient and compassionate nursing assistant to help patients in our healthcare facility. The nursing assistant is responsible for bathing, feeding, and dressing patients. To be successful as a nursing assistant you must be passionate about providing the highest quality of care to all patients.

Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Help patients with hygiene activities such as using the bathroom, bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing.
• Assist patients with meals by feeding them.
• Clean linen regularly.
• Provide and clean bedpans.
• Help patients with mobility problems to move around.

Nursing Assistant Requirements:

• Must attend classes to obtain certification. (Ask us about our partnership with East Central College to obtain your certification)
• Completed 16 hours of training as a nursing assistant.
• Patience.
• Compassion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strength to lift and move patients.
