ANNUAL SALARY: $47,000-$52,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week; Primarily Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Hours may be flexed to include evenings and weekends as determined by the College.

JOB SUMMARY: The Academic Advisor & Apprenticeship Coordinator provides services to prospective and current students regarding the application and registration processes, working collaboratively with advising, admissions, and dual enrollment staff, guiding students through the processes to ensure successful processing of related items. This role is responsible for ensuring outreach and recruitment of apprentice applicants, reviewing apprentice progress toward completion, and active involvement in outreach events and school events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide academic advising and educational planning to students, including apprenticeship and sponsorship students, related to course needs in alignment with student academic programs and career goals.
- Provide information and guidance to prospective and current students within the enrollment and registration processes.
- Meet with students to help navigate the use of Student Planning to create course schedules, monitor degree progress, and register for classes.
- Assist with the completion of the FAFSA, apply for scholarships, and answer general questions about college policies and procedures.
- Conduct outreach activities using a variety of channels to expand enrollment, apprenticeship, and sponsorship program opportunities, and student recruitment.
- Assist with the College’s student-based job posting platform; work with local businesses to identify and post job opportunities for students and alumni.
- Promote student use of the career services offerings; coordinate regular workshops, seminars, and resources to support the personal, professional, and academic success of students.
- Assist with student recruitment and retention efforts as assigned.
- Coordination of the College’s annual job fair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED : Supervision received from the Director of Enrollment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required in sales, marketing, educational administration, general business, or education.
