    Division /Department Information

    Radiologic Sciences Program in the Department of Clinical Health Professions within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

    Respon sibilities

    • Teaching workload in the Radiologic Sciences Program and/or in area(s) of expertise
    • Scholarship workload in area(s) of expertise
    • Service in the Department/College/University/Profession/Community service
    • Prepare and maintain course outlines and objectives, instruct, and evaluate student progress
    • Assist with evaluating students' performance, in cooperation with other faculty, to integrate didactic and clinical learning experiences and to progress within the curriculum
    • Participate in the accreditation and assessment process
    • Participate in periodic review and revision of course material, program policies, and procedures
    • Support the program director to assure effective program operations
    • Assist the clinical coordinator with daily operations of clinical education and assess students at their clinical rotation site.
    • Maintain current knowledge of professional discipline
    • Maintain appropriate expertise and competence through continuing professional development.
    • Other duties as assigned

    **Qualifications **

    Master’s degree in related discipline

    ARRT certification and active registration in Radiography (required)

    ARRT certification in Computed Tomography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or other (preferred)

    New York State Department of Health – Radiologic Technologist License and Registration (required)

    Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline

    Prior experience in a JRCERT accredited program is preferred.

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual/hourly salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000. St. John’s University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

    This position may be relocated to any of St. John’s University’s physical locations at any time.
