TITLE: Event Coordinator - School of Law
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Events, School of Law.
REQUIREMENTS:
Foster relationships with the Board of Directors, Alumni, Students and Faculty.
Manage, organize and assist at all aspects of the alumni events and activities offered throughout the year. This includes preparing invitations for print, supervising the mailing of invitations, maintaining registration records.
Process all income for Alumni Association Dues, Events and Continuing Legal Education Programs. Responsible for submitting all income for events in a timely manner.
Assist with the management and updates to the alumni database, including research when necessary to confirm data.
Manage all Alumni mailings (ordering data, submitting online work order, overlooking the printing of invitations and brochures).
Responsible for Alumni Association Dues Program including accounting, coding and mailing membership cards.
Assist with coordination of Law School events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION:
Manage and organize printing and mailing of the various brochures for the CLE programs that are offered throughout the year.
Maintain registration records for each program.
Arrange for proper check in and registration materials to be available and distributed.
Arrange for duplication of CLE class materials.
Manage registration at the programs.
Mail Merge Certificates for all attendees and panelists.
Assist with the End of the Year Report which is submitted to the Office of Court Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
_In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $42,400 - $45,100. St. John’s University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. _
This position may be relocated to any of St. John’s University’s physical locations at any time
