    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

     

    This position will be responsible for assisting with the verification, validation and processing of company invoices. In this role, will also ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Review, validate, and enter invoices in a timely manner
    • Effectively interact with and respond to employee inquiries as well as requesting clarifications to submitted invoices.
    • When needed, perform invoice validation and other tasks as required.
    • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

     

    MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

     

    • Minimum 2 years experience in Account Payable.
    • Minimum of 2 years of Data Entry experience.
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent from an accredited institution.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • Well organized and able to multi-task.

     

    PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

     

    • Knowledge of JD Edward’s and Esker systems.

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have current, unencumbered NYS or Connecticut RN license
    • 5 years’ experience in a managed healthcare environment required
    • 3+ years of previous quality/audit and training experience required
    • Prior experience with CMS regulations and NCQA accreditation required
    • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and state, federal regulatory and accreditation agencies
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
    • Ability to multi-task many projects simultaneously

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Primarily sedentary
    • Must be able to use standard office equipment
