Job Summary
The Fortifi LA Program Manager, under the supervision of the Division Director manages the Fortifi program team ensuring the delivery of quality technical vocational training as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center._ _
The Fortifi LA Program Manager is passionate about empowering people and wishes to contribute in a meaningful way with vocational or technological experience. The PM supports a dynamic, multi-faceted and team dedicated to changing the trajectories of low income, underemployed, re-entry and underserved adults through tech skills and job placement in the technology sector.
Fortifi LA’s mission is to use a technical skillset to transform the income potential and the lives of low income and underserved adults, especially those impacted by economic hardship and are justice experienced. Fortifi LA works with adults with justice experience, and those impacted by homelessness and chronic low income. Fortifi LA is an innovative program that teaches the technical and professional skills necessary to attain entry level technology related jobs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Division Director, the Fortifi LA Program Manager coordinates all aspects of the Fortifi LA Program including supervision of the instructors & program staff, and is responsible for student recruitment, supporting where possible with curriculum evaluation & development, job search strategy instruction, employment coordination, job and hiring coordination and placement, community outreach, documentation and reporting.
