    JOB TITLE: Housekeeping Coordinator AGENCY: St. Patrick Center REPORTS TO: Manager of Employment Services SUMMARY OF POSITION: Assists individuals experiencing homelessness with obtaining and retaining competitive employment by providing on-the-job training and coaching to program participants. Engages clients and establishes trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward achieving client goals. Oversees all functions of the on-the-job training including recruiting, scheduling, supervising, monitoring and training the client work force. Teams with Employment Specialists, providing key communication on client work performance. Partners with Facilities Department and Downtown St. Louis Partnership for organizing and executing job bids as requested. Carries ultimate responsibility for ensuring projects are completed, even to the point of performing the needed work. RESPONSIBILITES: On-The-Job Training • Provides detailed training for clients on how to complete various tasks performed within St. Patrick Center and as needed for Downtown St. Louis Partnership. Follows and adheres to BEST training guidebook for all clients’ training. • Responsible for meeting goals in contract with Downtown St. Louis Partnership. • Conducts weekly orientation sessions for all clients seeking to enter program. • Monitors and evaluates program participants for the effectiveness of training and individual trainee growth. • Provides appropriate feedback and coaching for trainees during 30 day reviews with all program participants and continues to do so on an ongoing basis. • Accurately tracks and records days and hours worked by each client. Fills out and submits payroll forms weekly. • Ensures all clients entering program have required documentation upon program entry. Completes required departmental paperwork as needed. • Purchases materials needed for jobs. • Other duties as assigned. Data Entry and Tracking • Maintains detailed records of client services/expenditures and closely monitors expenditures to prevent over of under spending of funds. • Maintains and updates all required documentation in client paper and electronic files. Files and completes daily paperwork tasks as needed. • Accurately enters all client activities and provided services in ECM and HMIS client tracking systems within 1 business day of activity or service. • Complies with HIPAA regulations. St. Patrick Center and Community Relations • Fosters strong working relationships with community based organizations and partner agencies. • Participates in bi-weekly team meetings and communicates individually with team members between meetings in order to coordinate services and generate ideas to help clients achieve their employment and housing goals. DIRECT REPORTS: None KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or GED. • Class E driver’s license. • Prior experience working with socially/economically disadvantaged persons and assisting with job placement and development activities preferred. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry experience. • Experienced general carpenter, with electrical and plumbing knowledge. Excellent math skills. • Supervisory and training experience. Keeps HEP/BEST team and others adequately informed regarding client relations. Values and contributes to team building. Ability to speak and teach effectively before groups. RELATIONSHIPS REQUIRED: • Reports to the Employment Manager, HEP/BEST; works with all staff at St. Patrick Center; serves clients with employment/housing search; assists employers with job needs; networks federal, state and local agencies as needed. • Works collaboratively with Facilities Department and Downtown St. Louis Partnership.
