Accounting Administrator, Pro-Life Obstetrics/Gynecology Clinic & Non-Profits
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Administrator for our pro-life, Catholic OB/GYN surgical practice and multiple non-profits. We are looking for someone who will contribute to our Accounting Team by demonstrating collaborative, constructive, solution-oriented interactions coworkers and management.
Essential Job Results:
1. Documents financial transactions for separate corporations by entering all account information into QuickBooks.
2. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
3. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
4. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information between all departments within corporations.
5. Ensures month end accuracy by matching receipt totals and classifications, A/R, and inventory with each department within the corporations.
6. Ensures successful audits by working with CPA/auditing agency to gather all requested information needed to prove reported data.
7. Secures financial information by completing database backups.
8. Maintains financial security by following existing internal controls and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
9. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, requesting, and scheduling disbursements and bank transfers.
10. Maintains payroll information by directing the collection, calculation and entering of data, reviewing, and making changing in exemptions, 401(k) deductions, insurance deductions, tax deductions, department updates, and any garnishments or child support deductions.
11. Determines and pays all payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer’s social security.
12. Maintains government payroll and vendor requirements by completing all monthly, quarterly and/or annual documents (941, 940, 941N, SUTA, FUTA, 1099, W-2).
13. Prepares for filing of yearly income tax returns by making sure all data for the year is entered correctly, stored, and then delivered via USB drive with all necessary hard copies to the accountant on a timely basis each year.
14. Completes all required annual reports for 401(k), government surveys, etc.
15. Liaison between CPA and SPVI for communications, property tax reports, depreciation updates, and end of year journal entries.
16. Maintains sales tax accuracy by gathering all applicable sales tax reports from other departments and corporations and then completing the Nebraska sales and use tax report with the state each month with corresponding payments.
Benefits :
