St. Thomas Community Health Center is looking to hire a spanish speaking Medical Front desk operator/ Medical Receptionist. Our mission to continue to provide excellent care to our community has allowed us to grow as an organization. We are looking for Bilingual candidates to provide excellent care, demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills and provide top quality care to our patients. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work as a team player and interact with a multidisciplinary care team, provide personalized service-oriented assistance for our patients while demonstrating strong clerical and front end skills.
Required - High School diploma or equivalent
MUST SPEAK SPANISH
Maintain confidentiality in matters related to co-workers and patients. Professionalismwith dress code/manners CPR Healthcare Provider certification.Mandatory: Personable (for meeting/greeting patients/customers)
Computer literacy (Mainframe or PC)Phone etiquette - handle heavy volume multi-lineFiling - alphabetically and numericallyLegible handwritingSpelling/grammar aptitudeGood written/verbal communication skillsSet priorities/follow directionsAdjust to various demands
Preferred: Shift flexibility
Operate business equipment i.e. fax, photocopy, calculator, data card.Cashiering activityMedical terminology
Medical office experience is a plus,
