The St. Thomas Community Health Center mission to provide excellent care to our community has allowed us to grow as an organization. We are looking to add an assistant to our administrative team. Our team is seeking to hire an administrative assistant who will be able to provide professional level support through a variety of daily tasks to ensure efficient operations are maintained. The candidate will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material, provider and clinical staff scheduling, ensuring providers schedules are appropriately staffed, assisting with time off requests, recruiting, scheduling interviews, generating reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software as needed, and creating correspondence as needed. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Education
Required - High School diploma
Preferred- College degree,
Work Experience
Required - 3 years experience in a professional administrative role required including experience working with confidential information and computer systems.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
proven admin or assistant experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficient in MS Office, Google, and excel
Demonstrate good judgment and interpersonal skills
