    St. Thomas Community Health Clinic is looking to hire an RN with Strong Clinical Leadership and management experience. We are looking to fill the needs of our growing organization.

    The desired candidate will lead a team of nurses and assist ancillary clinical staff with assigned duties. The candidate shall demonstrate leadership and professionalism by maintaining responsibility with assisting other members of the healthcare team to provide the highest quality personalized patient care.

    Education:

    BSN preferred

    Required - High School diploma or equivalent

    Required - Current Louisiana State License

    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Work Experience:

    Required - At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced ambulatory clinic environment.

    Role:

    Lead clinical staff to ensure daily workflow is maintained

    Assist with staffing, holding morning huddle, coverage and providers scheduling

    Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the clinical team

    Participate in orienting new clinical employees to the EMR, clinical practices and skills according to the specific job description

    Able to proficiently lead a clinical team

    Demonstrates good judgement with high level of problem solving skills

    Job Duties

    Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care through data gathering, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

    Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served.

    Communicates effectively and professionally with all patients, guests, family members, and co-workers to ensure quality patient experience.

    Adapts to rapid change in a positive manner throughout the day as needs of the care team change.

    Manages personal professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials.

    Participates in quality strategies to evaluate compliance with standards and identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes.

    Salary: Very competitive and depends on years of relevant experience
