  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant (CPA Preferred) to join our team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, a solid understanding of P&L management, GAAP Accounting and the ability to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Manage and maintain general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Oversee and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to support business decision-making
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within QuickBooks Enterprise
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
    • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting regulations
    • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
    • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

    Required Qualifications

    • Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license – Preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise – required
    • Proven experience preparing and analyzing P &L statements and full financial statements
    • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards with multi-company eliminations
    • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
