    Job Summary

    AMPERA, a growing company pioneering modular energy systems, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role will be responsible for general accounting functions, account reconciliations, and accounts payable activities. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries and month-end close support

    Prepare and maintain account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts)

    Process and manage accounts payable, including invoice and payments processing

    Assist with financial reporting and internal controls

    Maintain accurate and organized accounting records

    Support audits and provide requested documentation

    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data

    Utilize accounting systems and tools to improve efficiency (NetSuite experience is a plus)

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

    Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

    Experience with account reconciliations and accounts payable

    MBA, CPA or CMA designation is a plus

    Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools
