At Paul Davis Restoration, we don’t just restore properties—we restore lives. We’re looking for a recent graduate or early-career Accounting Specialist who is strong in Excel, understands the fundamentals of debits and credits, and is excited to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

This is not a narrow, entry-level role where you’re stuck doing one task. You’ll gain exposure across multiple areas of accounting and have the opportunity to build real-world skills quickly.

What You’ll Do

Assist with account reconciliations and balance sheet support

Maintain and review General Ledger (GL) activity

Build and update Excel reports (a key part of this role)

Support month-end close, including journal entries and accruals

Help with job costing, commissions, and payroll-related entries

Review transactions for accuracy across systems

Identify discrepancies and help resolve issues

What You Bring

Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, organizing data)

Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits)

High attention to detail and willingness to learn

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)

Internship or 0–2 years of accounting experience preferred

Exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
