    Responsibilities:

    Accounting Tasks:

    • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy across all financial accounts.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, budget reports, and financial forecasts.
    • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
    • Perform band and credit card reconciliations.
    • Support financial audits and tax preparation, as needed.
    • Generate financial reports for management and assist with variance analysis.
    • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

    Payroll Processing & HR Support:

    • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP TotalSource.
    • Calculate and process payroll deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
    • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
    • Liaise with Human Resources to support accurate onboarding/offboarding documentation as it relates to payroll.

    Systems & Compliance:

    • Stay up-to-date with tax laws, labor laws, and accounting standards relevant to the plastic injection molding industry.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all financial and payroll activities.
    • Maintain all financial records within IQMS, our ERP system.
    • Support costing and production data validation for accuracy across manufacturing transactions.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and any industry regulations.

    Schedule: Core hours are flexible and established within standard business hours M-F.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-5 years’ experience in accounting and payroll processing, preferably in the plastic injection molding industry.
    • Experience with IQMS (or another ERP system) preferred.
    • Familiarity with ADP TotalSource strongly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAP principles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
