    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone with up to two years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and service-oriented business. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in our month-end close, reconciliation processes, and day-to-day accounting operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and post journal entries related to daily transactions
    • Assist with monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
    • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
    • Maintain fixed asset records and record depreciation
    • Support AP and Field Services teams with accounting with AP and AR transactions
    • Assist with financial reporting and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits
    • Collaborate with field operations and customer service teams to ensure accounting accuracy
    • Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
    • 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships in a related field are a plus)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Intacct, QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, or similar) is a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
    • Interest in or experience with the home services or construction industry is a plus
