Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow with a stable and supportive team? We’re hiring a Staff Accountant for a reputable company in the Cypress area. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity for someone eager to take the next step in their accounting career.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
Perform monthly reconciliations and journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support accounts payable and receivable functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
