Job Description
Job Purpose:
Provides companies and individuals with tax planning and consulting services in addition to preparing tax returns and financial statements.
Duties:
Prepares corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax returns
Assists clients with tax planning and projections
Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger systems
Assists with client payroll and other related payroll tax issues
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accounts
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Skills/Qualifications:
CPA License and Public Accounting Experience Preferred
Proficient using QuickBooks and other General Ledger Systems
Preparation of Individual and Business Tax Returns
Reporting Skills, Time Management, Detail Oriented
