As the first national smart space installation and services company, we’re growing fast and are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions across branches while supporting our continued growth and operational excellence.
Why You'll Love This Role As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the full spectrum of general ledger accounting and financial operations. You will work closely with our branch teams and leadership to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounting functions. While the role is remote, we require candidates to work West Coast hours (8–4 or 9–5 PT) and be open to travel within California (up to 20%) for branch support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage accounts receivable (customer deposits, invoicing, collections)
Oversee accounts payable, vendor payables, and expense tracking
Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate general ledger accounting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
Utilize both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite systems for day-to-day operations
Assist with special projects as entities combine and systems/processes evolve
What You Have Done
3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Project Accountant / Staff Accountant level)
Strong experience with general ledger accounting, AR/AP, reconciliations, and journal entries
Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite
Comfortable managing multiple branches/locations and high-volume accounting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel up to 20% within California
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus but not required)
