Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate to join our team. be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

Responsibilities

Enter financial data and transactions for business clients

Analyze budgets and other financial information

Reconcile bank statements

Prepare financial reports and statements

Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

Prepare and review personal, business, estates, trusts and multi-state returns.

Preparation payroll and sales tax returns

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Valid CPA certification in compliance with the state Board of Accountancy regulations

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Lacerte

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
