    ** Essential Functions:**

    • Perform general cost accounting and other related duties.
    • Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements, including review of prepaid and accrued transactions.
    • Maintain the general ledger.
    • Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
    • Reconcile cash, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts intercompany.
    • Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
    • Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
    • File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
    • Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

    Competencies, Education, and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 2 years of successful experience in public or corporate accounting performing most of the above duties.

    • Knowledge and experience in accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)

    • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and experience with accounting ERP systems and accounting software (e.g. Produce Pro)

    • Well-organized with ability to prioritize

    • Very good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

    • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting, including proficiency in excel and related tools

    • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

    Schedule:

    • Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

    Compensation:

    • $75,000 - $80,000/Year

    Physical Demands:

    • Stand or sit for long periods of time
    • Travel as needed
