    We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our small but mighty team. This isn’t a siloed, assembly-line position. From day one, you'll manage live client work, handle monthly financials, onboard new businesses, and support tax prep for a diverse set of clients. You'll work directly with our founder, receive hands-on mentorship, and shape your career toward a future Controller role.

    What You’ll Do

    • Own the Books
      Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 12 to 15 business clients using QuickBooks Online. You'll ensure everything is accurate, timely, and clean.
    • Lead Onboarding Projects
      Review, clean, and set up client financials, including QuickBooks, payroll, and login systems. Help them get started on the right foot.
    • Grow Tax Skills
      Support and prepare business and individual tax returns (S-Corps, 1040s, 1065s) under the guidance of a CPA. This is real experience that builds real muscle.
    • Work Smarter with AI
      We embrace automation. You'll help us test and integrate smart tools that improve accuracy and free up time for higher-value work.
    • Pursue Your CPA or EA
      We’ll reimburse study prep, provide paid time off for exams, and offer a bonus package valued up to $5000 when you complete your license

    What We’re Looking For

    • 2 to 5 years of accounting experience in public or small-business settings
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online and general ledger management
    • Exposure to tax prep for businesses and individuals
    • Strong attention to detail and high personal accountability
    • Someone who thinks like an owner, not just an employee
