About the Role:

Join Generator Supercenter of Baton Rouge as a Staff Accountant and play a crucial role in our financial operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is excited to contribute to our mission of providing top-notch generator solutions to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.

Prepare tax returns and assist with audits as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.

CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
