We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support our financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Process bank and check payments daily
• - Maintain bank account balances daily
• - Monitor bank accounts daily for irregular activity
• - Maintain accounting records related to payables
• - Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• - Maintain accounting records related to intercompany payables/ receivables
• - Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• - Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of assigned accounting balances.
• - Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• - Assist with audits by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
• - Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies.
• - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.
• - Assist in outsourced payroll processing, provide necessary data.
• - Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.

Qualifications

1. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. - Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
3. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. - Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. - Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
6. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
