This is an entry level accounting position, previous accounting or book keeping experience is desired. An accounting or other business degree is a plus, but not a requirement. This position will include a variety of tasks, including service order billing (including dispatch), collections, inventory, time card verification, and expense reporting (credit cards).

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and send service invoices.
• Backup receptionist on front desk.
• Answer incoming customer calls and accept credit card payments.
• Customer account maintenance and light collections.
• Researching and resolving discrepancies between billings and issuing credits as necessary
• Other accounting duties as assigned including account reconciliations and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task
• Excellent attention to detail and efficient data entry
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as extensive problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Windows based operating systems & strong Microsoft Excel skills (including the use of V-Lookups & pivot tables)
• Accounting software and systems experience (we use Acumatica)
• Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals, while also working alone on projects
• Ability to identify and solve business problems (identifying process improvements is encouraged)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
