Are you a detail-oriented and passionate accounting professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We are excited to offer an immediate full-time opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic General Accounting Department at our growing Hospital facility in Queens.

• Be at the heart of our financial operations, performing key accounting functions and providing critical insights for decision-making.
• Own the preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Track and manage vital assets, including fixed assets, construction in progress, capital leases, and prepaid assets.
• Collaborate on special projects and take your career to the next level in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
• 3-5 years as a staff accountant experience preferably in a hospital/healthcare setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Infor software is a plus but not required.
