Why this job – STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
A growing agricultural business is looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join its collaborative
and fast-paced team. In this hands-on role, you'll work across multiple entities, supporting a variety
of accounting functions including month-end close, vendor management, and audit preparation.
Reporting to the Divisional Controller and working alongside the Senior Staff Accountant, you'll gain
exposure to complex accounting processes while contributing to the financial health of the
organization. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to
build their skills and grow within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Support the month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling sub-ledgers to the general ledger, and ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with invoice entry and vendor maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and auditors to support financial audits and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate regularly with regional operations and remote teams to ensure alignment and accurate accounting support
• Review and correct transaction postings in partnership with the bookkeeper
• Support accounts receivable activities, including aging report data compilation
• Help implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Intact
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with accounting software is preferred

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation $75K - $80K DOE plus discretionary bonus
• North Denver, In-office with flexibility
