We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our small CPA firm! Responsibilities include:

• Compile and assess financial information
• Prepare and maintain books and records using QBO and QB desktop
• Responsible for the preparation of various tax returns, including forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, sales tax, payroll tax, etc.
• Build and maintain dynamic relationships with clients

Other Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient in MS office, including Word and Excel
• Proficient in QBO and QB desktop
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding personal and work ethic, thorough and organized
• BS degree in accounting required
• Previous experience required
• CPA license or EA certificate a plus
