Job Summary :

The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in our organization and wear many hats. The Staff Accountant will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, processing payroll, reconciling bank statements, balancing the ledger, and maintaining financial records in our rapidly growing organization.

Kevin Kelley Concepts is in the heart of downtown Dallas and we are growing our Finance and Accounting team. We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is a full-time member of the Kevin Kelley Concepts team, not a contractor, and is 100% on-site at our office in the city lights of downtown Dallas.

Staff Accountant Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing information.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts.
• Prepares payments by accruing expenses.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Staff Accountant Qualifications and Skills :

• Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site in downtown Dallas
• Experience supporting a start-up organization highly desired.
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment, with changing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant
• Strong analytic abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ownership and pride in work product
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Proficiency in accounting software, Sage is a plus
