    We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our Tax and Client Advisory teams. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to grow in a dynamic environment, and passionate about helping small businesses succeed.

    Role Overview

    The Entry-Level Staff Accountant provides essential support in delivering tax preparation, tax planning, and monthly accounting services. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and be directly involved in helping clients stay compliant, optimize profitability, and make informed financial decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and assist with individual and business tax returns

    Support bookkeeping and financial reporting for small business clients

    Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account clean-up

    Assist with payroll entries and basic payroll-related filings

    Maintain client records and ensure accurate documentation in our systems

    Communicate with clients to gather information and follow up on deliverables

    Participate in the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements

    Stay updated on tax law changes, accounting standards, and firm processes

    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)

    Actively pursuing CPA certification or planning to do so (preferred)

    0–2 years of experience in accounting, public accounting internship a plus

    Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts

    Experience with QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and Excel is a plus

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Comfortable working in a tech-forward, paperless environment

    Professional communication and teamwork skills

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
