Staff Accountant OR Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a bookkeeping service located in the Irvine CA area near John Wayne Airport.

Temporary to Hire position plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Hours are flexible to start between 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM, Monday - Friday and work 8 hour days. Company will complete a background check prior to start.

Staff Accountant: Paying $30/hr with at least 5 years' experience, depending on experience.
Full-Charge Bookkeeper: Paying $28-$30/hr with 3-5 years' experience, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping duties will involve bank reconciliations, bank and credit card reconciliations, coding and matching transactions in the bank feed of QuickBooks, posting journal entries & payroll.
• Will review, analyze and provide financial statements, profit and loss statements and balance sheets to their clients.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• For a Staff Accountant, the pay would be $30/hr with at least 5 years' experience, depending on experience.
• For a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, the pay range would be $28-$30/hr with 3-5 years' experience, depending on experience.
• Company will consider an ambitious, skilled entry level candidate with an accounting BA degree (mandatory) and a min of 1 year work experience in this field, at the pay of $25/hr.
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience.
• Expert with chart of accounts
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online is a MUST.
• MS Office skills.
