We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our operations by providing accurate financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will be based in Southern Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts receivable and perform account reconciliations.
• Utilize financial management software to track expenses and revenue.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Interpret financial reports to provide insights for decision-making processes.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role in the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial management software such as PeopleSoft or Xero is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
