    Job Summary

    The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the company, with a focus on financial accuracy, compliance, and support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for organization and problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies promptly addressed.

    • Respond to license and insurance requests from vendors, partners, and internal departments.

    • Code accounts payable invoices that do not have associated purchase orders.

    • Support monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

    • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.

    • Assist with audit preparation and documentation as needed.

    • Support other ad hoc projects as assigned by the Controller or Accounting Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

    • 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) is a plus.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
