Staff Accountant - Direct Hire 

\- 5+ years of experience

Our client based in Shakopee is experiencing growth and adding a staff accountant to their solid team, your days will be varied and busy supporting the functions of AR, AP, reconciliations, sales, tax administration, sales use tax and ideally, you will have experience using NetSuite or Oracle.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include, but not limited to handling a variety of tasks such as billing, general ledger, payroll, sales taxes, monthly close and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

The nice to have in this role will be:

• Accounting Degree or business degree coupled with manufacturing accounting experience. 
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, advanced Excel skills needed, and NetSuite experience preferred.
• Experience with international material procurement
• Positive outlook and attitude, with a determined and success-driven work ethic.
• Works well with others in a collaborative manner and helps foster a supportive work environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and within deadlines.
• Desire to want to grow and develop in a company
