The Role
Staff Accountants in our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) division work independently within a group environment to prepare accurate journal entries and financial reports, analyze financial data, and support multiple clients with various accounting activities while offering solutions that improve financial performance and aid clients' strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete work in-person at our Dallas office every day during the probationary period and at least three days per week thereafter (hybrid work arrangement)
Manage client budgets, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Prepare journal entries, work papers, financial statements, and custom reports
Reconcile bank and credit card account balances
Complete payroll and sales tax returns
Conduct financial analysis
Interact and meet with clients
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of one year of professional work experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, and CAM/RECs preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude
- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self‐manage workload responsibilities
