One of our valued clients is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This role is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to contribute to day-to-day financial operations while gaining exposure to month-end close and reporting processes.

** Key Responsibilities**

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate general ledger records
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Help prepare internal financial reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting procedures
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to requests for information
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

** Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

** Preferred Skills**

• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar
• Background in corporate or multi-location accounting environments
