Job Summary : Responsible for performing essential accounting functions to support daily financial operations, including timely and accurate recording of accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, and cash receipts activities in accordance with GAAP. Support month-end close and financial reporting for stakeholder review.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Recording and Analysis:

• Reconcile and analyze daily cash receipts.
• Maintain and update cash flow forecasts versus actuals.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close.
• Conduct monthly expense analysis to identify cost drivers.
• Analyze general ledger accounts to support variance reporting.

2. Financial Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and disclosures for reporting.
• Update fixed asset, prepaid, and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Track and record expenses from various departments and complete GRN reconciliations.
• Perform profitability analysis, including gross margin and product cost analysis.

3. Support Functions:

• Assist with daily collections efforts and support accounts payable process as needed.
• Aid with annual year-end audit engagement.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• Effective communication skills with vendors, customers, and team members
• Ability to collaborate effectively and adhere to deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems
