    Key Functions

    • Provide comprehensive support to accounting leadership across all departmental activities.

    • Manage tracking and reporting for fixed assets and construction-related inventory.

    • Assist with accounts receivable and payable processes across a portfolio of properties.

    • Coordinate accurate tenant billing for recurring charges and reimbursable expenses.

    • Conduct periodic reconciliations for tenant accounts.

    • Monitor regular vendor reports to identify and address outstanding payables.

    • Investigate account variances, review ledger activity, and prepare necessary adjustments.

    • Contribute to balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts, fixed assets, and other assigned schedules.

    • Support year-end financial reviews, audits, and tax documentation.

    • Develop and review annual budgets and long-range financial forecasts.

      Qualifications & Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

    • Background in real estate accounting is advantageous but not essential.

    • Familiarity with ERP accounting software is preferred.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with property managers, construction teams, vendors, tenants, and other stakeholders.

    • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with a proactive work ethic.

    • Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment.

    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Resourcefulness in researching information and resolving issues.

    • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
